South Africa’s top restaurants were announced at the 2022 Eat Out Woolworths Restaurant Awards on Sunday 20 November at GrandWest in Cape Town. The restaurant industry was celebrated with a spectacular display of gourmet food, creative drinks and top-notch entertainment including international DJ, Uncle Waffles.
This year Eat Out debuted a new star rating system where restaurants were awarded either three, two, or one stars. There were also twelve special awards handed out to chefs and restaurants who are moving the industry forward in a positive and meaningful way.
