Eat Out steps in to help feed the growing number of hungry tummies – and you can help

The Eat Out Restaurant Relief fund was launched on 24 April to offer financial support to our country’s incredible restaurants who are helping feed hungry families during this critical time. Here’s how you can help.

Our restaurants may be closed, but hope is alive in kitchens across our beautiful country. Many have reopened to produce meals for the old and frail, those who’ve lost their jobs, and the children who aren’t getting their meals at school.

Eat Out has set up the relief Fund so that empty kitchens and talented people can be mobilised to feed the hungry. The fund is offering financial support to these restaurants to help them pay their staff and to buy food – to keep them in business so they can keep putting food on the table for hungry families.

Can you help?

Please share the news about the fund and consider donating, to help feed the hungry and keep the restaurant industry alive. The fund is administered by Community Chest (NPO and PBO) and donations are tax deductible. Eat Out receives no commercial benefit – all money donated goes directly to restaurants.
