Jardine Restaurant in Cape Town got plenty of praise for their pretty amazing duck confit stuffed brioche, so Capetonian duck fans, I suggest you make a booking there.
In Jozi, Soi gets the nod from this week’s duck review winner, Sue-Ann, who reckons their honey duck and angry duck are both out of this world.
Sue-Ann will have the pleasure of dining out at another fabulous Jozi restaurant, Le Canard, to the value of R600. What a great prize from Le Duck themselves!
Our first runner up for a Kalahari voucher is Alison, who insists you’d have to be quackers not to enjoy the duck pie AND the vibe at 96 Winery, another Western Cape favourite.
We head back to Gauteng for our second runner-up’s best bite, Back of the Moon. Al loves this place for their generous portion of crispy duck served with a red apple sauce. Awesome!
