McDonald’s, the world’s popular fast food giant, celebrates its 20 year anniversary today – 11 November. To honour the day, McD’s is offering a special on its Big Mac Medium Meal for only R19.95 (normal price is around R30) which consists of a Big Mac burger, a portion of medium chips and a medium coke.
The only catch? The special is only available on 11 November from 10.30am and there are only 500 meals available at each McDonald’s store.. which means that if you don’t want to miss out – you better get in the queue. And this is precisely what the Cape Town McDonald’s fans had in mind this morning.
Our food editor went down to have a look at the Adderley Street store and and came back saying that the queue was literally down the street!
