Coffee on the house

From the outside it looks like an old shipping container but in fact it’s a Push Button House.

The fun and innovative design is the brainchild of designer Adam Kalkin. The Push Button House is an unassuming shipping container until a button is pushed.

The house opens in 90 seconds like a flower and transforms from a compact container into a fully furnished and functional space with a kitchen, dining room, bathroom, bedroom, living room and library with everything being recyclable or recycled.

Illy has now opened a temporary Push Button House café. New Yorkers can now go to the Time Warner Centre from November 28 to December 29 to check out the coolest coffee bar in town.

Nothing like a good expresso and some culture!
