Made from either stainless steel or mild steel, weighing only 4k the Cobb can roast, bake, smoke, fry, boil and grill. The base always remains cool-to-touch on the outside whilst cooking hot on the inside!

How cool is the Cobb?
The base of the Cobb remains cool at all times, this means that, should the need arise, you can pick it up and move it around while cooking. Despite the high cooking temperatures, the base always remains cool so it’s safe to use on all surfaces.
Cook on the beach, plastic garden table, travel/camping tables, on your (or a friend’s) boat. It’s also safe, minimalizing the chance of fires or accidents that may occur due to high surface temperatures or instability on other cookers.
The Cobb was originally designed as a cooking system for people in rural areas who had no access to electricity. The initial fuel source for the Cobb was dry corn cobs, abundant in rural Africa, hence the grill’s name.
Fuel the fire
So, what fuels it? You can use lump charcoal, briquettes or the specially manufactured Cobble Stone, which lights in seconds and is ready to cook on in approx. 7 – 10 minutes.
With a minimum cooking time of 2 hours and made from environmentally sustainable coconut by-product, and a built in fire-lighter, it burns hotter and longer than conventional charcoal.
