Chef Ramsay still at the top of the food game

Petrus, run by Ramsay protege Marcus Wareing, was one of only two restaurants to be added to the list of two star establishments in the famously exclusive Michelin guide’s 2007 edition for Britain.

Ramsay’s newest London restaurant, La Noisette, was among 13 to win their first stars. No new British restaurants won the industry’s most coveted prize this year – a third star.

Ramsay’s flagship restaurant, Gordon Ramsay, is one of just three three-star restaurants in Britain – and the only one in London.

The other two are The Fat Duck and The Waterside Inn, both in the small town of Bray about an hour’s drive west of London.

Britain has just 13 two-star restaurants, and 106 – five of them Ramsay’s – with one star.
