Champagne won’t lose its cool

Piper-Heidsieck, said to be Marie Antoinette’s favorite tipple, recently launched in Singapore a goblet big enough to be filled with liquid champagne and ice cubes made from it.

Using a special device, ice cubes are made by freezing champagne at -15 degrees Celsius.

The champagne is served in a glass called a ‘Piscine’, or swimming pool in French, which resembles a large wine glass.
