Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay dresses in a blonde wig and pink lipstick to anonymously review this shocking restaurant

In the latest episode of Gordon Ramsay’s current TV show, Gordon Ramsay’s 24 Hours to Hell and Back, the chef proves that there is almost nothing that he won’t do to get an honest restaurant review.

In the series, Ramsay visits flailing and failing restauranteurs across the US, to help them turn around their businesses. In just 24 hours, Ramsay will review the restaurant, diagnose major problems and help these establishments get back on track. From poor service, bad food and even family feuds, Ramsay has seen it all. It’s not surprising that the celebrity chef is recognised almost every time he visits a restaurant. Turning to elaborate disguises, Ramsay visits these unknowing restaurants to experience the menu and atmosphere, anonymously and without warning.

In the most recent episode, Gordon dons the disguise of Libby Lu, attending her weekly book club lunch with her fellow gal-pals. With flowing blonde curls, pink lipstick and an absurd hat, Libby Lu is dressed to review the restaurant. After half an hour, the table of lunching ladies is eventually served one lonely fish dish.

”Look how dry that is!” remarks Ramsay, as he prods the overcooked fish fillet.

“That is bad. It tastes like cough medicine” Ramsay utters as he tastes something that looks like seafood stew. Delicately, he brushes back his long blond hair.

The drama heightens, as the meal goes from bad to worse. Watch it for yourself:
