Celeb chef alert: Nigella Lawson was in SA last week

One of Britain’s most famous food personalities and prolific cookbook writer, Nigella Lawson, was recently in South Africa for the SA Council of Shopping Centres (SACSC) congress.

While in SA, Nigella spent time at the beautiful Babylonstoren – a true bucket list destination for any foodie visiting the Cape Winelands. 

The celebrity TV chef posted a few snaps to Instagram where she described a dessert of poached guava and ice cream as “simple perfection”. 

In my nest at beautiful @babylonstoren, a farm/hotel w cottages in the Winelands not far from Cape Town, for a pre-book-launch relax. I was a guest of the owner, I should tell you.
