‘We have the opportunity to open a beautiful chocolate cafe in a heritage building on Wale Street in Cape Town and we want you to be a part of it.
We are going to open a cosy Honest Chocolate café where we’ll serve everything chocolate; from organic chocolate truffles to moist chocolate cakes to hot chocolate and even chocolate ganache smothered sourdough toast.
We’ve secured a beautiful space in Wale Street and we just need to create the perfect chocolate café. If you can see yourself tasting decadent chocolate and coffee combinations at our café, then click on the limited edition offers on the right and be the first group of people to be a part of it.

We’ve been hand crafting organic chocolate in Cape Town for 4 years now and it’s always been our dream to open a chocolate café where we can serve our chocolate creations along with ridiculously good Honest chocolate cakes, chocolate tarts, pastries, hot chocolate, chocolate milkshakes, chocolate fondues, chocolate pizzas… the list goes on!
It will be a place where we get to share with the public what our passion for chocolate can create in the kitchen. And best part, you get to taste it all.
We will offer dairy-free, vegan, gluten-free and Paleo options, as well as good old fashioned rich chocolate cakes and the like, along with quality coffee made by our dedicated barista using locally roasted beans.
The new, bigger space is situated right next to our current Wale Street shop and features beautiful wooden finishes. With access to the historic courtyard at the back you will be able to feast on chocolate and coffee and feel like you’re in a Florentine villa.

Milestones:
Milestone 1: R50 000.00
Milestone 1 → The Tipping Point – We reach this Milestone and our project is A-GO!
Basic Chocolate Café setup, which includes an espresso machine, coffee grinder, display fridge, POS system etc.
Milestone 2: R80 000.00
We reach this milestone and we can pay attention to turning the space into a cosy cafe with beautiful fixtures, fittings and furniture.
Milestone 3: R100 000.00
The Courtyard – if we reach this milestone we will beautify the courtyard with benches and tables for outside seating! Think romantic chocolate coffee date.
