Cape Town hosts its first Refugee Food Festival

The Refugee Food Festival is a roaming project developed by the Food Sweet Food Association with the support of the United Nations Refugee Agency and has been running in 11 European cities. This year the project is taking place, for the first time,  in New York, San Francisco and Cape Town! 

The festival aims to welcome refugee chefs into renowned restaurant kitchens, in the name of unity and embracing culinary diversity. 

The festival takes place for 10 days with events across the city. NOTE: Reservations are only made with the restaurants involved.
