Smash cakes have recently become the trendy way to celebrate your one-year-old’s birthday party. You order an amazingly cute cake that will be smashed in their face, hire a photographer that will set up a fun-filled little photo shoot, a few props, dress your little one up and then proceed to let the birthday baby smash their cake.
The result is super cute, adorable images of your little one enjoying their first taste of cake, but adults all over the world have found it amusing and have decided to adopt the trend for their own celebrations.
Judging by images we have seen on social media, it sure does look like a ton of fun, some adults have even taken it a step further and added adult-friendly props like champagne, wine bottles or even shot glasses to celebrate their milestone birthdays. Bizarre or brilliant?
