Ben & Jerry’s ice cream has garnered a reputation in the ice cream world, but now it seems film company, Rodax Distributors Inc has cottoned onto their popularity and wants a lick of the scoop.
It’s been reported in UK’s, The Sun, that the company has brought out a porn series using names that are based on well-known Ben & Jerry’s flavours:
Boston Cream Thigh (Boston Cream Pie)
New York Fat & Chunky (New York Super Fudge Chunk)
Peanut Butter D-Cup (Peanut Butter Cup)
There’s no denying that Ben & Jerry’s have used some raunchy names for its ice cream flavors in the past. Think Schweddy Balls and Karamel Sutra, but they were all original names thought up by Ben & Jerry’s themselves.
According to the article, Ben & Jerry’s lawyers say, ‘sale of pornographic DVDs under the parodic name creates an association with filthy sex and tarnishes the name of Ben & Jerry’s Homemade Holdings Inc’.
