Becks to open a chain of restaurants called Beckham’s Bistro

The former soccer star wants to call his new business ‘Beckham’s Bistro’, according to the Daily Star.

While cheering on the England team during their World Cup warm-up match with Honduras, he chatted about his new venture and said that he thinks the name has got a good ring to it and he admitted that he’s a foodie and that he wants dining to be a big part of this venture.

The Beckham power couple are looking to expand their business interests in the US and are friends with chef Gordon Ramsay (naturally), who already has three restaurants in Las Vegas.

But, after Beckham reportedly pulled out of investing in Gordon’s Union Street Cafe in London last year after a difference of opinion, a source revealed that these two Brits may be best friends ‘but they’re also very astute businessmen and both wanted different things, so they both talked long and hard and have decided not to work together on this occasion.’

David has been described as a ‘great cook’ (Well, of course, just looking at him is a feast) who has learned a lot about French and Italian dishes over the years and also loves a British pie.
