Head out to The Franschhoek Kitchen at Holden Manz, where their new winter warming menu teems with palate-pleasing dishes made with seasonal ingredients from their very own chicken coup, vegetable garden and fruit orchard.

Chef Bjorn Dingemans’ mouth-watering starters include scrumptious grilled squid, a novel chickpea pancake with buffalo mozzarella and roasted butternut, and crumbed sweetbreads served with Holden Manz garden leaves.

Diners will be spoiled for choice with a wide selection of mains, such as succulent slow roasted pork belly, juicy lamb chops served with onion pureé, rosemary potatoes and rocket, perfectly prepared line fish, or the irresistible signature Holden Manz “fall-off-the-bone” 24 hour roasted lamb shank.

Chef Bjorn is in his element when it comes to dessert, with his pièce de résistance, his decadent chocolate pot or indulgent cheesecake. You’ll also love his twist on an Italian classic, the orange and brandy panna cotta.
