Granita has just introduced
its exciting new Autumn Gourmet Menu, and this 6-course food and wine journey
delights with every course. Be seduced by the blue cheese tartlet topped with
biltong and coriander shoots, paired with the 2009 Haute Cabriere Chardonnay-Pinot
Noir; or allow the lamb loin stuffed with garlic and thyme served with the 2008
Dido Pinotage to take you to new culinary heights.

The True Autumn Gourmet
package not only includes the 6-course dinner, but also luxurious en-suite
accommodation and a sumptuous buffet breakfast.

Guests can now also enjoy a
new Sunday lunch menu at Granita. The 5-course lunch menu is paired with wine
suggestions, which are sold by the glass to those who would like to experience
the perfect food and wine pairing for their lunch.

“We find that there is
quite a demand for a gourmet-like experience, with a traditional Sunday lunch
twist,” says Sammy Mashile, Executive Chef.

Instead of a traditional
Sunday roast, Mashile invites guests to try his beef medallions served on
crushed pepper potato with gherkin, brie and red onion compote. Chocolate
mousse is also a firm favourite, but can now be enjoyed with a Granita twist –
a chocolate mousse torte and strawberry sorbet.
