Hello Gautengers,
We’ve taken note that we tend to favour Cape Town and the surrounding winelands when it comes to content on eating out and generally enjoying oneself.
We can make up excuses and say it’s because we live here blah blah blah, but the fact remains that the Joburg dining out scene is largely ignored by most of the big foodie websites.
We intend to do something about that. In fact, we have started by getting our resident Joburg reviewer, Bryan van Niekerk (you can follow him on twitter ‘cos he is lank funny) to round up some of his favourite things to do in Joburg.
Check out where Bryan likes to partake in a nice cold beer, or where he thinks you can find the best ribs in Joburg.
Bryan, being the awesome bloke that he is, is very busy and popular and can only write for us part time. So we’d like some of you Joburg foodies out there to make a contribution to Food24’s Gauteng content.
