3 Festive cocktails for you to try this season

The Whisky & Spirits Live festival opened its doors this past week at the Sandton Convention Centre. A popular annual event known for showcasing the widest selection of whiskey under one roof, the festival added a range of other premium spirits for tasting so that even those not into whiskey could explore gin, vodka and other spirits.

Whisky & Spirits Live shared its choice of delicious festive season cocktails with #Trending:

Ableforth’s RinGinGin

Ingredients:

Method:

Stir all ingredients over ice until chilled, then strain into a chilled coupe and garnish with orange zest.

Buffalo Trace Bourbon Old-Fashioned

Ingredients:

Method:

Place the sugar cube in an old-fashioned glass and saturate it with bitters. Add a dash of plain water and muddle until it is dissolved. Fill the glass with ice cubes and add the whiskey. Garnish with the orange slice.

Blind Tiger Mojito

Ingredients:

Method:

Muddle the mint together with the lime wedges, juice and simple syrup in the bottom of a cocktail shaker. Add 50ml Blind Tiger Gin and shake well. Pour into a double old-fashioned glass filled with crushed ice. Top with Fitch & Leedes club soda. Garnish and serve.
