Sandbar
Umdloti Beach is one of KZN’s most popular spots due to safe conditions and warm water. It also happens to be the location of SandBar, an unpretentious restaurant where sand, sun and surfing meet.

Billal’s Cuisine
Tucked away along Durban’s South Beach is a little piece of food heaven. From indulgent footlongs to the most delicious curries, Billal’s offers a feast for any curry lover’s tastebuds.
The star of the show, however, is Billal’s Mutton Bunny Chow. Made up of a hollow-out loaf of bread, this meal is packed with flavour and will have you salivating at just the thought of it. The mutton is tender and delicious, while the gravy packs a seriously spicy punch. The bunny chow is served with two salads to cool down your palate.
While unassuming, the restaurant offers a true Durban food experience. Those looking to fill a large void in their tummies, Billal’s offers open fire char braai with an Indian twist. If this is more your taste, you’ll probably want to get your hands on their Mixed Grill. Complete with ¼ chicken tikka, a seekh kebab, 4 malai cubes, 4 chicken cubes and a roti, it’s bound to keep for full for hours.
