US beer company offers to pay interns to drink beer

World of Beer, a Florida-based beer chain has recently published an online ad – looking for 3 interns who will travel the world, drink beer and document their experiences. Sound appealing?

What they’re looking for:

“a team of interns to travel the world, hopping from brewery to brewery, WOB (World of Beer) tavern to WOB tavern to explore beer for themselves and share their stories with WOB drinkers across the country.

Whether you’re a photographer or writer, social media maverick or beer blog surfer, we are looking for you. Adventure seekers and storytellers, beer experts or novices, brewery nerds and foodie fans all open to apply. So if you want to live, drink and tell the tale to the world, get ready to apply for the chance to share your experience as a Drink It Intern.”

Find the official job description here.

We are sure the number of applicants will be plentiful to say the least! But there must be a catch right? How can something so good be true? Well… it seems like it is!

There are two options by which you can apply…

Option 1: Online

Fill out a quick application and share a one-minute video that shows your passion and interest for the position.

Option 2: In-person

Audition at one of WOB’s in-tavern interviews across the country. Candidates should be ready to “show their true personality, their social media and creative prowess, impress with their passion for beer and food, and own the stage in front of our panelists”.

Er… we think we’d go for the first option thanks!

Just so you know, the deadline for the application is 26 March 2016 and to be eligible, you must be authorized to work in the US.
