It was the perfect pairing on Thursday night when luxurious Chivas Regal Ultis met bespoke menswear brand Row-G at their design studio in the Quince Street Lofts in Milpark.

The launch of the new single malt whisky (well, it’s actually made of “five handpicked single malts”) started off slowly, but a few sips in the room began filling up with those lucky enough to be the first to taste the new offering from Chivas.
We were schooled in how best to taste a single malt – first with the eyes, then the nose and only then the lips. Celebrities were a little thin on the ground, but radio star and businessman Thabo “Tbo Touch” Molefe came through later in the evening.
For many it was also a chance to get to know the beautifully crafted menswear created by Rahim Rawjee, who has designed for the likes of former US president Barack Obama.
Chivas will host a series of Ultis tasting events this month, culminating in an exclusive launch party to be hosted by actor and Chivas ambassador Don Cheadle.
