Rugby World Cup menu
All I have been hearing today in the office is “1 more sleep! 1 more sleep!”
The 2015 Rugby World Cup kicks off tomorrow night and even if you have no clue what a lineout is or what a rugby ball actually looks like, there’s really little you can do to NOT get sucked into the hype. All you have to do is watch this ad and the goosebumps appear.
Now – if you are going to be getting into the festivities at a nearby pub or restaurant (cause let’s face it – it’s much more fun when you have a throng of people with which to curse the ref or to celebrate a winning try), then I urge you to check out our World Cup Specials section – an entire hub filled with bars and restaurants that will be offering great promotions for the 44 days of World Cup mayhem. If you know of a restaurant that is doing something special for the World Cup, send an email with the details to editor@food24.com
Not a fan of crowds? Watching the games in the comfort of your own home can also be exciting. Firstly you don’t have to pay for drinks, you can position yourself horizontally on your couch and… you can make your own delicious snacks!
We’ve put together a list of real crowd-pleasing finger foods that will have the whole neighbourhood pulling in.
