Melt the butter or margarine and add the lemon juice and garlic salt to taste. Place the snoek, skin down, on a grill and brush the fleshy side with the butter mixture. Close the grill and place high above hot coals (with skin side up). Braai for about five minutes or until the skin turns dark. Turn the grill over and open it. Brush the skin side with the butter mixture. Close the grill again and braai for about 10 minutes or until the fish is done (and flakes easily with a fork). Be careful not to overcook. Serves 6-8.
