|2||pears — peeled|
|1||bacon — cooked, chopped|
|1||eggs — beaten|
|200 g||blue cheese|
Preheat oven to 200°C and grease a baking tray with cooking spray.
Slice pears thinly and set aside. Roll out puff pastry and use a cup or small bowl as a mould – to cut circles.
Place a small handful of bacon, a slice or two of pear and a few crumbs of blue cheese in each circle of pastry. Fold in half and pinch the edges. Use a fork to press down where you’ve pinched.
Place the pastry parcels on the baking tray and brush with the beaten egg.
Bake for 20 – 25 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool slightly before eating. They should be enjoyed warm. If they get a bit cold, heat them up slightly.
