|1||green pepper — roasted and sliced|
|2.00||tuna — tinned in brine, flaked|
|2.00||garlic — large cloves, crushed|
|2||fresh parsley — finely chopped|
|2.00 ml||freshly ground black pepper|
|1 cup||lettuce — shredded|
Cut loaf in half lengthways.
Place both halves, cut side up, on a board and spread with butter.
Mix red and green peppers with tuna, garlic, parsley, basil, black pepper and olive oil in a medium-sized bowl.
Place shredded lettuce in one of the bread halves, spoon tuna mixture on top and cover with the other half.
Cut the loaf cross-wise into four equal portions.
