Ingredients (7)

2 fresh chillies — chopped
10 garlic cloves — crushed
65 ml brown sugar
45 ml white sugar
750 ml water
45 ml white vinegar

Place all ingredients in a saucepan and bring to boil. Boil rapidly for 10 minutes.
Reduce heat slightly and cook for 20 minutes, or until mixture becomes thick and syrupy.
Makes 125 ml (1/2 cup).
