Ingredients (10)

120.00 ml vinegar — white wine
120.00 ml sugar
200.00 ml stock — chicken or water
10.00 ml sunflower oil — sesame oil
15.00 ml fresh ginger — grated
5.00 ml ginger — dried
20.00 ml soy sauce
20.00 ml tomato paste
30.00 ml cornflour
0.00 spring onions — sliced

Method:

Heat all ingredients except the cornflour and spring onions in a saucepan.
Mix the cornflour with a little water and stir into the sauce. Stir over a medium heat until thickened.
Add the spring onions if using and serve hot with stir-fries, spring rolls and other Oriental-style dishes.
