Chop the onion ends off and then halve the remaining.
Carefully remove the outer rings of the onion so that you have 4 – 5 large rings to work with.
Wrap the streaky bacon around the rings – use a toothpick to hold the bacon in place if you need to – some rings will require more than one rasher of bacon. 1 pack of bacon should cover 5 large onion rings.
Braai for 15 minutes or until the bacon is cooked and crispy!
