Spicy sticky wings

Ingredients (8)

WINGS
1 kg chicken wings — cut in 2 pieces at the joint
60 ml baking powder
30 ml smoked paprika
salt — to taste
SAUCE
60 ml sweet soy sauce
60 ml BBQ sauce
30 ml smoked chilli flakes
10 ml lemon juice

Method:

Coat the wings in baking powder and paprika then sprinkle over some salt.

Grill at 180°C for about 30 minutes.

On the stovetop on medium heat, mix together the soy sauce, lemon juice and BBQ sauce in a saucepan. Add the chilli flakes and lemon juice. Reduce sauce to a sticky consistency.

Coat the wings with the sauce and enjoy.
