Ingredients (6)

375 ml fine sorghum
5 ml Bicarbonate of soda
5 ml brown sugar
salt — just a pinch
30 ml butter — melted
250 ml amasi

Method:

Combine the dry ingredients in one bowl and the wet ingredients in another. Mix the wet ingredients into the dry.

Lightly grease a frying pan and heat to a medium heat. Drop spoonfuls of batter into the pan. When bubbles form on the top and the mixture no longer looks runny, turn the flapjack over and cook through (about 3 minutes a side). Make sure to cook the first side for 3 minutes.
