|45.00 ml||sesame seeds|
|45.00 ml||sunflower oil|
|1.00||garlic — cloves, crushed|
|1.00||spring onions — chopped|
|2.00 ml||fresh ginger — chopped|
|15.00 ml||soy sauce|
Slice leeks on the slant, into 3 cm lengths.
Heat oil and add sesame and sunflower seeds.
Cook until seeds begin to brown.
Add leeks, garlic and spring onions and stir-fry for about 5 minutes.
Add ginger, mirin and soy sauce.
Cook on high until leeks are just tender, but still crisp.
Remove from stove and serve at room temperature.
You may wish to add a little extra mirin before serving.
