Savoury braai bread

|100.00 g||butter — softened|
|30.00 ml||tomato paste|
|4.00||garlic — cloves, crushed|
|100.00 g||mozzarella cheese|
|12.00||salami — slices, halved|
Make 12 diagonal slices in the French loaf making sure you don’t slice right through.
Mix the butter, tomato paste and garlic together and spread the mixture between the slices of bread.
Slice the cheese and place a slice of cheese, salami and a fresh basil leaf between each slice.
Brush the top of the bread with the remaining butter mixture. Wrap the loaf in heavy aluminium foil and place on the grill. Cook over a medium heat for 10-15 minutes until cheese had melted. Open the foil to allow the bread to crisp.
