Ingredients (10)

MEAT
500 g deboned shoulder of pork or neck, cubed
500 ml wine — red
250 ml apple — cider
750 ml water
2 cm fresh ginger — peeled, grated
1 apples — green, grated
45 ml oyster sauce
15 ml soy sauce
15 ml brown sugar to serve salt and freshly ground pepper toasted rye bread or mashed potatoes
1 apple or apple salad

Method:

This is a clever way to create a juicy dish from a tough
piece of meat.

1. Meat mix the ingredients in a microwave-proof glass bowl.
Cover with clingfilm and pierce it a few times. Microwave for 40-45 minutes,
stirring at 15-minute intervals, until the meat is tender and can be shredded.

2. remove the meat from the cooking liquid and shred using
two forks. Mix with the cooking liquid.

3. To serve Season the meat with salt and pepper and serve on
toasted rye bread with a slice of apple. Or serve the meat with mash and apple
salad.
