0.00 oil
1.00 onion — chopped
1.00 green pepper — chopped
1.00 kg mutton — shank
3.00 garlic — cloves, chopped
3.00 cardamom — pods
2.00 cinnamon — stick
1.00 red chilli — deseeded and chopped
250.00 ml water
0.00 salt and freshly ground black pepper
410.00 g peas — tinned
340.00 g whole kernel corn — tinned
500.00 g rice — yellow, cooked

Method:

Heat a little oil in a large saucepan ad fry the onion and green pepper until soft.
Add the meat and brown it.
Add the garlic, cardamom, cinnamon and chilli and fry for a few minutes.
Add the water and bring to the boil.
Cover and simmer for 1 ½ to 2 hours or until the meat is tender.
Season with salt and pepper.
Stir in the peas and corn and mix with the yellow rice.
