Enjoy these spicy potato bhajia with a dipping sauce of choice, the ultimate comfort food snack for winter.

Ingredients (7)

2 baby potatoes — peeled and sliced 4-5mm thickness
1/2 cup chilli bite mix
1/2 cup flour
1/4 cup fresh coriander — finely chopped
1/4 cup spring onion — finely chopped
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp fresh green chillies — finely chopped

Method:

Place the sliced potatoes in a casserole dish with glass lid, fill about 2cm of water into the dish. Cover with lid. Microwave on high for 5 minutes.
Drain and set aside.
In a bowl, combine all the dry ingredients together. Add in coriander, spring onions and green chilli.
Add in enough tap water a little at a time until you get a batter thick enough to cling onto potato slices.
Heat oil over medium heat, dip slices into the batter and deep fry until crisp and golden brown.
Serve with your favourite chutney/dipping sauce.
