Portuguese chicken with cheese and spinach potato bake
|2 Tbs||garlic — cloves, crushed|
|olive oil — little bit|
|500 ml||cream — fresh|
|1 tsp||garlic — cloves|
|1||tomato paste — small tin|
|1/2 cup||nando's sauce|
|sugar — pinch|
|potato — bake|
|spinach — chopped|
|cheese — grated|
|potatoes — sliced|
|salt and freshly ground black pepper — to taste|
Marinate chicken in the marinade and then cook on stove.
Make the sauce by combining all the ingredients.
Boil sauce on stove and simmer for a bit.
Pour sauce on chicken and grill in oven till chicken is cooked.
Cheese and spinach potato bake:
Melt butter in saucepan
Add chopped spinach and braise for a while.
Add flour and braise
Add little milk at a time and keep stirring to avoid lumps.
Add all milk and stir till thick.
Add grated cheese and stir till melted in.
Season with salt and pepper according to taste.
Add potatoes and bake in the oven till cooked.
