Nuttikrust apple crumble

Ingredients (8)

100 g Bakers Nuttikrust® biscuits
2 x 385 g tinned unsweetened pie apple slices
50 ml honey
1 lemon — juiced
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
1 cinnamon stick
100 g butter — cubed
50 g desiccated coconut — toasted

Method:

Preheat the oven to 180° C.
Place the apple slices into a pie dish, drizzle over the honey and lemon juice and sprinkle over cinnamon powder. Add the cinnamon stick.
Using your fingers mix together the butter and crushed Bakers Nuttikrust® biscuits. Sprinkle the crumb over the apples and bake for 30 minutes.
Remove from the oven and sprinkle over the toasted coconut. Serve with custard or pouring cream.
