Microwave chocolate crunch bars

180 g butter — at room temperature
250 ml cornflakes
250 ml dessicated coconut
200 ml castor sugar
250 ml flour — self-raising
30 ml cocoa powder
200 g chocolate — dark or milk, chopped

Put the butter in a 20x20cm square microwave dish. Heat in the microwave on full

power until melted.

2 Add the cereal, coconut,castor sugar, flour and cocoa powder and mix until combined.

3 Press the mixture firmly into the base of the dish. Heat in the microwave

on full for 5 minutes.


Remove the dish from the microwave and sprinkle the chopped
