Microwave chocolate chai cake

Ingredients (9)

25 g butter
40 g Milky Bar
1 egg — small for one person or one large egg split between two cups if doubling the recipe
25 g brown sugar
25 g all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp ground ginger
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
Small pinch of ground cardamom

Method:

Place butter and 25g chocolate (4 blocks) in a mug and melt them together in the microwave.

Add the remaining ingredients and mix through.

Drizzle the top of your cake with a teaspoon of water and cook for 1 minute in the microwave. If it’s not set yet, cook for a further 15 seconds before serving with a scoop of ice cream.
