|3 cup||self-raising flour|
|1 cup||water — warm|
|1 packet||Eskort Picnic Ham|
|1 cup||cheddar cheese — grated|
|1/2 cup||mozzarella cheese — grated|
|1 tsp||chilli flakes|
|1/2 cup||exotic chutney — (optional), to serve|
For the vetkoek:
Add a pinch of salt to the self-raising flour then add the warm water. Mix until combined.
Knead until smooth. Divide the dough into 12 portions, shape to size and fry until golden.
For the filling:
Heat a frying pan over moderate heat.
Fill the vetkoek with the ham, mozzarella, cheddar and chilli flakes.
Toast the vetkoeks until the cheese is gooey and melted.
Serve with your favourite condiments, like exotic chutney.
