The perfect salad with a tangy twist.
|600 g||haloumi cheese|
|100 g||walnuts — toasted and chopped|
|1||garlic — cloves, crushed|
|lemon — juice only|
|1/2 cup||walnuts — oil or olive oil|
|sea salt and freshly ground black pepper|
Slice the haloumi cheese into flat strips. Heat a frying pan, add cheese and cook on both sides for 1–2 minutes, until golden brown and crispy. Remove from pan and set aside.
Place all the dressing ingredients in a jar, seal and shake well to combine.
Place the haloumi, watercress, grapes (on the stalks) and walnuts on a large platter and pour over the dressing. Serve immediately.
