Green goodness power smoothie
|2 - 3 cup||water or coconut water|
|2 cup||baby spinach or kale - roughly chopped|
|1||celery — chopped|
|1||apple or 1 kiwi or 1/2 cup chopped pineapple|
|squeeze of fresh lemon or lime juice|
|1||fresh ginger — skin on|
|2 Tbs||ground almonds or 1 serving pea protein powder|
|1 Tbs||fresh basil or mint - chopped|
|1 Tbs||spirulina or hemp seed powder ( or moringa powder or your favourite green powder)|
|1 Tbs||chia seeds|
|1 Tbs||baobab powder|
Blend the smoothie ingredients together in a high-speed blender until smooth. Loosen with a little extra water if you find it too thick.
Divide between glass jars. Refrigerate for up to one day.
Love Your Leftovers: Save the ends of your courgettes when spiralising by stashing them all in a freezer bag, and use them to add to your green smoothies as and when needed.
