Gingerbread French toast

Ingredients (10)

6 bread — white, slices
1 Tbs brown sugar
4 eggs — large
2 tsp ginger — ground
2 tsp cinnamon — ground
1/2 tsp nutmeg — ground
icing sugar — to garnish
1 mixed berries
yoghurt — Greek
1 tsp vanilla — essence

Method:

Beat the eggs in a mixing bowl and add the sugar, vanilla, ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg.

Heat a frying pan to medium high heat with a knob of butter. Dip slices of bread into the mixture and fry on both sides until crisp and golden. Cut the toast into rounds (or any shape you prefer). Stack the pieces on top of one another. Dust with icing sugar and serve with thick Greek yoghurt and berries.
