Ingredients (7)

50 g fresh ginger — thinly sliced
1 l apple juice
1 l water
1/4 cup honey
1 l soda water — cold
2 apples — red, finely sliced
ice — to serve

Method:

Place the sliced ginger, apple juice, water and honey in a pot, stir to dissolve the honey, then simmer for 5 minutes over a medium heat.

Allow to cool completely, then strain the liquid into large jugs, add the soda water and stir well.

To Serve:
Fill glasses with ice and pour over the liquid. Garnish with red apple slices.
