Preheat the oven to 180 ºC (350 ºF).
Season the hake fillets with salt and pepper and arrange in a large baking bag. Arrange the onion, tomato and green pepper on top. Sprinkle with the lemon juice, wine and seasonings. (Set the cornflour paste aside until after the baking time.) Place the baking bag in an oven pan and bake for 20 minutes or until the fish is done and flakes easily. Thicken the sauce with the prepared cornflour paste if desired. Serve the sauce with the fish.
