Crustless Amarula milk tart
|3 Tbs||butter — melted|
|3||eggs — separated|
|1 cup||flour — cake|
|1 tsp||Robertson's baking powder|
|100 ml||amarula — cream liqueur|
|cinnamon — ground|
Preheat oven to 180°C
Cream the butter, egg yolks and sugar together until creamy.
Sieve the cake flour, baking powder and salt and add to the sugar/egg mixture.
Mix in the milk and Amarula and mix well.
Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into mixture.
Pour into a deep tart dish and sprinkle cinnamon on top.
Bake in the oven for 40 minutes until set.
Note: For a more traditional milk tart, use 1 litre of milk, and no Amarula.
