This proudly South African green variation of Créme soda is such a classic and one of my favourite drinks growing up. Because school holidays are on the horizon, why not make these with your favourite little people as a fun activity to keep them entertained.
|2 Tbs||Sheridans gelatine — powdered|
|1||packet of créme soda flavoured jelly|
|1/2 cup||water — cold|
On a low heat in a saucepan, add the water. Then add the powdered gelatin and créme soda flavoured jelly, using a wooden spoon stir to combine until all the gelatin dissolves and no sugar crystals at the bottom of the pan. Transfer the mixture into a small jug.
Using a dropper fill the mold with the mixture (if you don’t have one, a small jug with a spout will do just fine. Shake the mold gently so that the mixture settles to the bottom.
Place on a flat surface or tray and into the fridge for 10 minutes to set.
Remove from the mold and enjoy!
Tip: Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
