Citrus fizz mocktail

Summer citrus infused mocktail with a kombucha and ginger beer base.

Ingredients (12)

1/2 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp salt
2 tsp sugar
1/4 lime
For the mocktail
1 lime — sliced
1 orange — halved and sliced
1/2 grapefruit — sliced
1/4 cup orange juice
1/4 cup lime juice
1 cup kombucha
1/2 cup ginger beer
sugar syrup — optional, to taste

Method:

Stir together the salt, sugar and chili powder on a small plate. Rim each glass with a lime quarter and dip it in a mixture of the salty chili sugar mix.

In a large pitcher, combine all the ingredients for the mocktail together.

Fill the glasses with ice and an additional mix of the sliced citrus, top with the mocktail mixture and simply enjoy!

Notes

To make sugar syrup combine 100g castor sugar with 100ml water in a pot. Heat to dissolve the sugar and then boil for one minute. Remove from the heat and allow to cool.
