Chicken thighs in a creamy wholegrain mustard sauce
|8||chicken — thighs|
|4||garlic — cloves|
|2 Tbs||wholegrain mustard|
|A sprig||dried thyme|
Preheat the oven to 180 C.
Brown the thighs in some vegetable/canola oil and place in a casserole dish.
Slice the onions and chop the garlic.
Saute the onion in the same pan as the chicken until soft and add the garlic and the thyme. Cook for a few minutes.
Add the cream and the mustard and simmer for 5 minutes.
Pour over the chicken, cover and place in the oven for 35 minutes.
Serve with: creamy mash and a side salad or wilted greens.
